Wul served his time as a mechanic in a coachbuilders 14 years ago and has worked at Honda, Peugeot, Fiat, Falkland and Renault.
He was foreman at Fiat when he was 21 and worked there for 5 years.
He then moved to Falkland where he spent 8 months.
His last 3 and a half years have been spent at Renault, again as a foreman.
(He thinks he will be changing his job soon.)
He says that he has "been about and has had his own wee place for 5 years, doing allsorts".
He is mostly self taught, with a City & Guilds etc, but his journeyman at the time left in Wuls second year.
The owner decided that Wul could do it alone.
Wull says it was good then, better than these days anyway. "It was old skool back then."
Cars, in fact anything with an engine has always been his passion.
The  MTX75 mod was a fair old job and took 4 months with no info from anybody!
He has made every single thing himself, (along with his mate who happens to be a blacksmith) and has enjoyed it all.

Wul has owned the Series 1 for ten years and tells us that he feels like he needs a change.
"There's nothing more can be done to the car", he says.
The reason for working with Fords?

He built a C plate Nova when he was 17 - a 16-valver and it must have been one of  the first.
"It was a good wee car".
Then someone offered him a straight swap for the standard Series 1.
The rest is blood, sweat, tears and MONEY!
"It turned me into boost junkie. I'm just daft: fullstop."
He says he has done crazy stuff over the years, but his motto is "anything is possible!"
