Dean didn't come home Tuesday.
Just after 8:00 P.M. we learnt, that Dean had been killed in a car accident, along with his best mate.
The Escort, along with everything else, just disappeared from our minds.
There were other things that had to be done. Questions without answers, events without reason.
We were a long, long while coming to terms. The car just stayed in the garage.
Eventually, I chatted with Wendy about my last few words with Dean, how I'd promised to get it running again.
