Series 2 Escort RS Turbo
This has got to be the finest example of a rare Black H reg RS Turbo. It's one of the last one’s made with
98,000 miles on the clock and a Full Service History.
It's been serviced every 6,000 miles since new with no miss outs and has a fully stamped up service history booklet all dated. All M.O.T certificates are present from new.
It is regularly full rolling road tuned with graphs to prove everything is running smoothly.
It's got all the manuals and all the brochures, some which are quite rare and difficult to get hold of these days.
Danny has all the receipts for purchases on new uprated parts that have been fitted to his car. He has receipts, bills and service papers for any maintenance carried out on the car dating back from when the car was new. The car has all original panels and is HPI clear and has been religiously (and highly obsessively) maintained regardless of any costs.
It was bought in June 2002 with only 59,000 miles (with a F.S.H of course) and was completely standard at the time. All modifications have been carried out by makaveli69 himself.
It has only 4 previous owners on the log book and makaveli69 has owned it for the last 5 years.
At 92,000 miles it’s had a full top end engine rebuild and full tune up costing just over £1,000 (receipts of course). It is still running the whole original standard bottom end, turbocharger, injectors, etc… from new and is still in full working order.
From 12/02/2007 to 5/4/2007 the car has under gone a full restoration with all the body kit being taken off and the interior, seats and carpets all taken out. Any rust that was found on the car has been removed and fully treated in all areas including the whole of the underneath and front & rear arches. All of the body kit and interior has been put back to exactly how it was.
As you can see he has spent thousands throughout the 5 years that he has owned this car and can honestly say that he now has his car looking exactly how he wants it to look.
The car is in showroom condition in all areas.
The engine & gearbox run extremely smoothly and it is nice and quiet with no strange noises and (most important) it is very reliable. He's always made sure that it’s warmed up and cooled down after use and there are no electrical problems or any other faults.
